






ABOUT

Christine Covode is an actor, playwright, and improviser living in New York City! She is most known for her 2022 One-Woman Show entitled, “Dear Mom, Sorry for Being a Bitch” which premiered Off-Broadway at SoHo Playhouse for a limited 5-run engagement. The show SOLD OUT a week before opening night and was quickly picked up for a ten-show extension on the SoHo Playhouse MAIN STAGE! WOO! Christine is the creator, actor, writer, director and star. The show was picked up by Playbill, Timeout, Theatre Mania, Broadway World and was given a featured article in the Brooklyn Eagle! Christine brought the show back to the SoHo playhouse stage in May for a 3-day Mother's Day Run which sold out every night :)
In addition to kicking ass off-broadway, Christine is a sketch comedy writer and improviser! She performs monthly at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective with her sketch team, Sleepover, and with her improv teams "Sprinter" and "Donnas Beef." "She takes improv classes at UCB to keep her skills fresh!
Right now she is directing a short film, "Parked Car" which she wrote this year. Watch out, Sundance!
She got her degree in theatre from Pomona College in 2019. In Feb of 2022 she was featured in AsylymNYC's "must watch" character showcase called "Character Parade."
She is looking for legit representation in New York City as well as expanding her network.
